The trailer shows us something out of a John Carpenter movie. Different gangs and thugs, each with an arsenal of heavy metal, have taken over the Big Apple. The Division is special tactical unit activated to bring back whatever order remains in an order-less world.
The game is an “open-world RPG shooter”. There are day-night and weather cycles. Customizable characters and equipment. Squad tactics will mean the difference between life and death. Some of the tactics to be employed include bullet-proof shields, air-drops, breaching, and robot sentries.
Will The Division pull a Rudy Giuliani and bring peace and order to the City? It’ll be up to you, but like they say, if you make it there, you’ll make it anywhere.
